Dr. Frederik G. Pferdt was Google's first Chief Innovation Evangelist, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company's renowned culture of innovation. He founded Google's Innovation Lab and co-created the CSI:Lab (Creative Skills for Innovation), initiatives designed to foster creative thinking and problem-solving across the organization. For over a decade, he has been an Adjunct Professor at Stanford University's Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (d.school), teaching courses that empower students to navigate ambiguity and design impactful solutions.
Beyond academia and corporate innovation, Pferdt has collaborated with a diverse array of organizations, including the United Nations, NASA, the German Football Association (DFB), and the NBA, to cultivate cultures of creativity and forward-thinking. Born near Lake Constance in Germany, he now resides with his family in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California, drawing inspiration from nature and the inquisitive minds of his three children.
